As well as pre-made Lessons, your Music eLearning Website contains thousands of individual resources which can be used to aid teaching in the classroom. In order to use these Resources you will need to create your own Lessons, which you can then view online or download to your Lesson Viewer for use offline.
This tutorial will show you how to:
To find resources to use, click the explore link at the top of the screen.
This is the Explore page. Here you can explore categories of resources. Click the category titles to view their contents. Alternatively, you can use the search box at the top right of the screen to search for specific resources.
When you have found a Resource that you wish to use, click the shopping basket icon to add it to your basket.
Click on the Resource name to view more information, including tags, ratings and preview images. You can also preview the Resource in your browser by clicking on the image.
Once you have added a Resource to your basket, it will appear at the top of the screen. You can continue to add Resources - they will appear in the basket as you add them.
Once you have gathered all the Resources you wish to add to your Lesson, scroll to the top of the screen to view your basket.
Select the Resources you wish to add to your Lesson by clicking the checkboxes on each Resource image. Any Resources you don't add will remain in your basket until you delete them.
Next, click on the "Actions" drop-down menu. Select "Add Resources to New Lesson" and click "OK".
This will create a new Lesson containing the selected Resources. Your new Lesson will appear onscreen. From here you can edit the Lesson name and description, change the order of Resources, and add any supporting documents.
Resources are shown on the left-hand side of the page in the order in which they will be displayed in the Lesson.
Click on a Resource and drag it into place to change the order of the Lesson. Once you have finished editing your Lesson, you can view it in your web browser by clicking "Preview Lesson".
